Recently, there has been a large number of user complaints regarding items advertised as "Early Purchase Bonuses" being made available to other customers after the "early purchase" period ends, resulting in those items no longer being exclusive to early purchasers.
If you plan to make Early Purchase Bonuses available either for free or for a fee at a later date, please abide by the following:
- Do not use words such as "limited" to describe content that will be made available by other means in your product description or sample images.
- Make it clear that you are planning to make this content available via other means.
*We recommend leaving a period of 6 months after the initial release to avoid confusing users. - Check [Notes when applying discounts, etc., for a limited time] before registering your product information.
When registering your product, please abide by the following:
- Include the Early Purchase Bonus with the main product data
- Include the period of availability in the product description (including sample image text)
- Once the availability period has concluded, please submit a file replacement request and update your product description accordingly.
- When the bonus items are removed from the main product data, users who own the product can no longer download the bonuses or view them via the browser. Please include the following phrase in your product description:
[Bonuses will be deleted once the availability period has concluded, even if you have purchased the product. Please download the content onto your device before the end of the availability period.]
If it is found that Early Purchase Bonuses were offered later without following the requests outlined above, we reserve the right to withhold distribution of those Early Purchase Bonuses.
