Manga and Voice/ASMR works meeting the following conditions can be granted permission for translation via the Translators Unite project.
- The work must be an original creation. (i.e. Not a "derivative" work based on the intellectual property of third-parties)
- The work must contain Japanese. (i.e. as the source text used for translation)
- The product format of the work must be Manga or Voice/ASMR.
- Manga: The file format must be JPEG, PNG, or PDF.
- Manga: There must be no more than 700 files in the work, the image dimensions must not exceed 10000px, and the product file must not be a split-archive.
- Voice/ASMR: The file format must be MP3, WAV, AAC, WMA, FLAC, or OGG.
- Voice/ASMR: The voice/s in the work must be contractually permitted for use in works marketed and sold to an international audience.
- The files must not have DRM protection applied to them.
* If for any reason the work ceases to be in compliance with any of the above items after the submission has been approved, translation permission will be automatically revoked.
