As a general rule, DLsite is unable to handle works registered as new in the case of re-registrations(including works removed from sale), remakes, version updates for existing works, and portions of, or data from, existing works. This rule applies regardless of the circle applying, or whether the overlapping works are currently on sale.
× Reregistering past works
→ You cannot re-register a work that is already registered.
You can, however, reopen sales for a past work whose sales period has ended.
If you'd like to reopen sales for a work, please contact us with the work's name and ID.
*This does not apply to limited-time works.
× Remakes and version updates:
→ In cases where there are major changes to a work (such as a full voiceover for a previously unvoiced work, or a large story addition), you may be able to register a remake or version update as a new work.
Otherwise, please add the remake or version update to the original work.
× Selling portions of existing works and re-using files:
→ As the number of works on DLsite could potentially increase without limit if we allowed new works to be registered by using or rearranging portions of existing works, we do not accept registrations of this kind.
You also cannot register bonus material for an existing work as a new work.
If a work you are registering contains material that overlaps with a past work (for compilations, etc), please leave a note in the Notes field with the name of the work and, if possible, the product code.
